Spaccatelle

Spaccatelle is a typical pasta from Sicily, "short" pasta with lovely curves and a split in the middle. It's that split, spaccatura, that gave it its name. Perfect for holding even de tiniest bit of sauce.
Sicilians serve this pasta with many typical sauces like; alla norma, trapanese and even with swordfish.
